Community Realism recognises our need for community, mutual help and solidarity. It states that the best way to promote or encourage this way of belonging is to normalise it within our culture. The more normal community action gets, the more likely we are to come together in times of need. To know that it is possible to affect change directly, through community, mutual aid and solidarity.
