Gearing Up
So Badger has voiced his intent to begin hosting Heavy Is The Heart this Thursday! It’s a big step and there’s only a few creases I need to iron out before we’re ready. I’m really looking forward to hearing a voice on the radio. It’s something I’ve been putting off for a while, finding countless technical problems that need fixing so I’m hoping this gives me the kick I need to go full gas in the right direction finally.
This will be a big step compared to other more recent steps but it really is just another step on the road to what this project will become. We’ve really needed it though and I couldn’t have asked for a better guinea pig than badger.

It was excellent! Very successful. Technically, we sorted out a lot of things in the day or two beforehand. As we get more practice, it will be slicker and easier. Badger fell into a much more relaxed approach by the second half and I can tell his radio voice and vibe is going to go from strength to strength with every episode. Oh and the music was awesome too. A really good mix of unknowns, classics, and the smattering of genre (Nu Metal this week) went just as I had hoped – keeping the show within a loose framework, having a pillar from which everything leads.
